Order Primates

Primates are a subcategory of eutherian mammals, which are placental animals. Primates include such animals as lemurs and monkeys. These primates have a prehensile grasp which allows them to wrap their thumb around an object in the opposite direction of the other fingers. This ability allows humans to create and use advanced tools. Furthermore the unique human ability to stand bipedally for long periods of time, frees up the hands to work with tools. [BM] {>1}
