In general it can be said that the majority are brown or black and have rather long faces. However, shorter than that of the baboon. All macaque are known to live in large clans. This clan of crab-eating macqaues are busy cleaning one another. These clans can range from 10 individuals to some 570 individuals, as is the case with the Japanese macaque. [BM] {FW}
