Lion-tailed Monkey 2
The tail of the lion-tail has a tuft of
fur on the end and is approximately half the length of the body. Like the pig-tailed monkey the tail
of the lion-tailed monkey may be carried arched over the back. Lion-tailed monkeys are rare and are
found only in southwest India between heights of 2500 and 4300 ft.
