One of the most common lemurs is the "ring tailed lemur". Ranging in size from 20 to 40 inches, the ring tailed lemur has a distinctly long, black-and-white ringed tail, that is often carried straight in the air. The body is grey, the face white with black muzzle and eye spots. These gentle vegetarians are found only on the island of Madagascar. Back to Lemur. [BM] {FW}
