The howler monkey reaches approximately 4 ft in length from head to the tip of the tail. They have thick fur that is usually black, brown or red. Howler monkeys live in hierarchical clans, sleeping in favourite trees together and searching for food together. The 5 species of howler monkey are all found exclusively in South America. [BM] {FW}
