Adult males develop a silver back which contrasts sharply with the darkness of the coat.
Gorillas have very acute eyesight, large
nostrils and thick, short necks. The hands and feet are large, strong and closely resemble those of
humans. Gorillas generally remain on the ground, walking on all fours. This juvenille gorilla is holding a
