Aye-aye 2
The aye-aye shares characteristics with now extinct primates,
which suggests that the aye-aye is the last of a dying branch. The aye-aye has a bushy tail, large,
erect mouse-like ears and long fingers and toes. The aye-aye listens intently for grubs under bark
and pulls them out with its long middle finger. This nocturnal animal is only found in
Madagascar.
