Pangolin
The pangolin is one of the most unusual mammals. Reaching lengths as great as 5 ft, the pangolin
has a long, slender, scale covered body. Able to curl up into a ball, the pangolin can protect its
soft, hairy underside. The eyes are small, the ears almost undetectable and the snout is quite
pointed. Within the toothless snout is a long, sticky tongue which the pangolin uses to lick up ants
and termites. Nests are torn open using the sharply clawed front limbs. MORE!
