Tapir 3
The tapir is shy and will make an escape at the
slightest disturbance. They are able to run quickly and are successful swimmers. They feed on
aquatic plants, leaves, fruit and young shoots. They live in tropical forests, near a source of water.
They are primarily nocturnal. Back to Tapir.
