Rock Wallaby 2
Resting during the hottest part of the day, this mammal feeds on roots, grasses,
bark and leaves in the early morning and late afternoon. Rock wallabies must often travel for
considerable distances from their rocky terrain to find appropriate food. Like the kangaroo, the rock
wallaby is a marsupial, carrying its young in a front pouch.
