Reaching lengths between 12 to 20 inches, the opossum has a long, hairless tail which can be used as a grip, allowing the opossum to hang from trees. The small, mouse-like face has large, hairless ears and large eyes, common among nocturnal creatures. The limbs are short and the hind feet show tremendous dexterity. [BM] {FW}
