Sorry, No Picture! Pika do not hibernate and are able to survive very cold winters by storing food. In warmer weather pika cut down vegetation, dry it in the sun and store it for the winter. In this way pika are able to live in some of the coldest reaches of Canada. Pika live for approximately 3 years, each female having 2 to 3 litters per year. [BM] {FW}
