Hare
Those mammals belonging to the family Leporidae include the snowshoe rabbit, the brown hare
and the Alpine hare. This photograph captures an Arctic hare. The hare is approximately 2 ft long and has a 3 1/2 inch long tail. The hare
has long ears and constantly twitching nostrils and whiskers, revealing that this hotly pursued
