Cottontail 2
Cottontails will dash away at even the slightest disturbance, running to save their lives. These little
mammals are taken by many flesh-eating animals and provide a necessary staple for
many species. Cottontails produce 3 to 5 litters every year, ensuring that the population does not
decline. Cottontail rabbits are found from southern Canada to South America.
