Armadillo 2
Most armadilloes are nocturnal and feed on a variety of foods, including plants, carrion ,
and snakes. Fossils of ancient armadillos reveal that their relatives could reach sizes over 5 ft in
length. The now declining population is found in tropical and subtropical South
America.
