There are 3 species of anteater, the "giant anteater", the "silky anteater" and the "tamandua". These mammals are characterized by their long, pointed snouts, small eyes and small ears. The most unique anteater is this "giant anteater". Ranging in size from 2 to 3 ft, this anteater has a fairly long, often bushy tail measuring 2 to 3 ft.
