HELP INDEX NEXT UP PREVIOUS FEEDBACK ATG Fossa

Sorry, No Picture! Fossas are the largest carnivorous animal on the island of Madagascar. They are cat-like in appearance, reaching an average length between 2 and 2 1/2 feet. The tail of this civet is long, as is the snout. Fossas are nocturnal and have cat like eyes which contract when exposed to the sunlight. It is believed by some that these slits can become so narrow that the pupils disappear entirely. The fur of the fossa is short and has a shiny reddish-brown colour. MORE! [BM] {FW}
