Civet
There are 15 species of civets. These small cat-like mammals vary greatly from one species to the next.
The length of the African civet is 4 feet with an additional 1 1/2
feet of tail. The coat is spotted like a cat and the tail is softly ringed. The body is long and slender,
the legs are long and the delicate face reaches a pointed muzzle. They are nocturnal animals, hunting by night for
insects, birds, snakes and frogs. MORE!
