Raccoon 3
In early spring the young are born, generally with 3 to 4 in a litter. These young raccoons are cared
for exclusively by the mother until they reach one year of age. Raccoons are related to pandas,
coatis and kinkajous. The most common raccoon, the North American raccoon is found
throughout North America. The other species of raccoon are found in South America
