HELP INDEX NEXT UP PREVIOUS FEEDBACK ATG Cacomistle 2

Sorry, No Picture! Being nocturnal the cacomistle has large eyes. The large ears and large eyes assist the cacomistle in nighttime hunting. This carnivore feeds primarily on small rodents such as mice. Three to four young are born in a moss lined nest in the early spring. These blind and deaf babies begin hunting at 2 months of age. Cacomistle are found in the southwestern regions of the United States and Mexico. [BM] {FW}
