The zorille is the African equivalent of the North American skunk. In appearance and habit the
zorille and skunk share many similarities. Like the skunk, the zorille has black fur overlaid with
distinctive white stripes. The conspicuous colouring of the zorille warn potential predators that
this small, slender animal is best to be avoided. If a predator does come too close, like a human,
