Badger
There are 3 species of badgers: the American badger, the European badger and the hog badger. The
European badger is the most distinctive species of badger with pure white striping running along
the black furred face. The other 2 species lack these distinctive markings. All badgers are heavy set
carnivores, reaching approximately 3 feet in length. The limbs are short and the
feet are armed with fantastic claws which the badger uses to dig setts, or badgerholes.MORE!
