Maned Wolf 2
Although the maned wolf has long legs and is capable of running at high speeds, it feeds primarily on ground animals such as insects, birds, reptiles and ground rodents such as the pacas and agoutis. Maned wolves also enjoy the sweet sap of sugar cane and will go to great lengths to satisfy this sweet obsession. The maned wolf is found in southern South America. [BM] {FW}
