Grey Fox 2
The legs are short and the face has a pointed snout. The fur is predominantly grey, highlighted by a
dark streak running from the nose along the back, continuing along the line of the tail, with white
underparts. The grey fox feeds primarily on small rodents, bird, eggs, insects and a wide variety of
plant food including grapes. Grey foxes are forest dwellers, ranging from southern Canada
south to the northern regions of South America.
