Trained as hunting companions, the young dingo pups would even be suckled by the Aborigine women. Standing about 20 inches on the shoulder, the dingo has a slender build, full tail and erect ears. Like other members of the dog family, dingoes hunt in packs, chasing their prey, snapping at their hind quarters. Dingoes are considered a serious problem in Australia when they enter commercial farms, killing scores of sheep and cattle. [BM] {FW}
