Dhole 2
Very similar in appearance to a wild dog, the dhole has
rounded ears, a short muzzle and a fairly thick coat ranging in colour from yellowish brown to grey
brown. Dholes breed once per year and approximately 2 to 6 pups are born, which are raised by
several females in a shared den. Dholes are found throughout India
and into southeastern Asia to the islands of Indonesia, as well as the USSR, China and Korea.
