HELP INDEX NEXT UP PREVIOUS FEEDBACK ATG Bat-eared Fox 2

Sorry, No Picture! The bat-eared fox feeds primarily on insects. The strong teeth for tearing flesh are not needed for this small carnivore. However, the sharpness of the teeth are useful in crushing hard bodied insects. Bat-eared foxes breed once per year, giving birth to a litter of 2 to 5 pups. These pups are born in a burrow which has been left by a previous resident. Bat-eared foxes live in Africa. [BM] {FW}
