Peccary 2
When the peccary is upset the hairs along its spine are raised and an unpleasant scent gland is
exposed on the lower back. This peccary is not upset, but has been captured by the photographer while
yawning. The collared peccarey has a grey colour with a distinctive circle of
lighter hair across the shoulders, while the white-lipped peccary ranges from reddish brown to
