Warthogs live in open country where they travel singly or in family groups. Feeding during the day, they graze on grasses. Two to 4 piglets are born once per year. Warthogs are able to run quickly and are successful swimmers. When cornered they may be quite aggressive. The warthog has very few natural enemies aside from the lion. Local people hunt warthogs and claim that the meat is quite delicious. Warthogs are found in Africa. [BM] {FW}
