Giraffe
The giraffe is acclaimed as the tallest animal in the world. Reaching up to 18 feet in height, the
neck is long and mobile. Depending on the race there are from 2 to 5 horns on top of the head. The eyes and ears are quite large and the long muzzle comes to a point. The lips of the
giraffe are hairy and the tongue is quite long and mobile. The tongue is used to grasp leaves from
trees for feeding. The acacia tree is the main souce of food for the giraffe.MORE!
