Sika
Sikas stand approximately 4 feet at the shoulder and have a soft brown coat decorated by a pattern of white
spots. The tail is white, as is the rump. Sikas live solitary lives, except during rutting season and when the
winter weather is sever. Rather shy, the sika will nestle in thickets during the day, coming out at
dusk to feed. Sikas consume only the tender parts of plants and
graze in grasslands. In the winter when food in scarce sika feed on twigs and bark.MORE!
