Reindeer
Reindeer and caribou share many similarities. After years of questioning, it has been concluded
that reindeer are the domesticated species of the wild caribou. Reindeer are smaller than caribou.
They reach up to 43 inches at the shoulder and a large male (bull) may weigh up to 224 lbs. In
the Arctic regions reindeer have been domesticated for many years. A close bond between these
