Mule Deer

The mule deer is closely related to another member of the deer family known as the Virginia deer. These two species share many similarities in their physical characteristics and in their habitat. Both reach 4 feet at the shoulder and weigh up to 300 lbs. They are considered medium sized deer. In the summertime the coat is tawny with red highlights, turning thicker and greyer as winter approaches.MORE! [BM] {FW}
