Fallow Deer 3
Usually a single fawn is born to a doe. The fawn lies motionless
in tall grass or a thicket where it is safe from predators until it can join the herd. There are 2
species of fallow deer. The first is found throughout Europe and has been successfully introduced
to North America. The second species is found in Persia and Iraq.Back to Fallow Deer.
