HELP INDEX NEXT UP PREVIOUS FEEDBACK ATG Springbok 3

Standing between 30 and 35 inches in height, this gazelle is able to jump 10 to 12 feet into the air. With grace and strength the springbok leaps, straight legged, into the air. Bouncing is used as a warning sign, informing other members of the herd of potential danger. Still numerous in the Kalahari desert, the springboks extend into Botswana, Cape Province and the Orange Free State. Back to Springbok. [BM] {FW}
