Serow 2
Serows live in rocky habitats, able to climb with incredible agility. The serow
rests during the warmest part of the day, rising to feed at dawn and dusk. Outside of mating
season the serow is a solitary animal. During mating season, like goats, the serows rut. The birth of the young is effortless, the mother simply walks around
while the kid is born. The maned serow is found in Sumatra, Szechewan and the lowlands of
southern China.
