Sable Antelope 3

The ears of the sable antelope are large and this antelope has a mane running along the neck and upper back. They can be found in open bush country where they form herds of 8 to 40 individuals. The herd is composed of females, offspring and a bull which will fiercely protect his harem. Resting during the day, these antelope feed on ground vegetation at dawn and dusk.
