Lechwe 3
In the parts of Africa which the lechwe inhabit they are an important link in the marsh ecology. The survival of many other species depend upon the well being and abundance of lechwe. Their dung makes the water and land fertile. The rare species known as Mrs. Gray's lechwe is found only in the swamp of the White Nile and the Bahr-el-Ghazal.
