Kudu
Kudu are closely related to bushbucks and nyala. The kudu is one of the largest members of this
group of antelope. There are 2 species of kudu, the larger being the greater kudu which stands 50
inches at the shoulder and may weigh up to 570 lbs. Female members of the kudu species are
considerably smaller than their conterparts and lack long, spiralling horns. The horns of the male
turns at least 2 1/2 times and are quite impressive. MORE!
