The guar can be found in small mountain herds, with 5 to 6 members. Each herd has 1
or 2 bulls, the rest being cows and calves. Guars feed primarily on grass, but have a real passion for
salt. Farmers will often put out salt licks to attract wild guars so they may be captured and
domesticated. Guars are found in the forests of India, Burma, Vietnam and Malaya.
