Dibatag 2
The coat of the dibatag is fawn, highlighted by white on the underbelly and running along
the flanks. The black tail is approximately 1 foot in length and is held erect when the animal flees.
The word "dabu" is Somalian for tail, while the word "tag" means erect, thus its name makes
obvious reference to this specific characteristic. Dibatags are very shy and generally remain under
the cover of tall grasses or shrubs. MORE!
