Blesbok
Two closely related species, the blesbok and bontebok, are commonly confused. The bontebok is
only slightly larger than the blesbok, standing just over 4 feet at the shoulder, weighing 200 lbs.
Both species have a white flare of fur which runs along the muzzle. However, that of the blesbok
has a brown strip between the eyes. Both the blesbok and the bontebok have white rumps and
gently undulating horns which mirror the outline of a lyre. MORE!
