Blackbuck 3

Blackbucks graze, feeding on grass during the day. The herd, which may number up to 50 individuals, rests in the shade during the warmest hours of the day. As is the fate of most of the worlds most beautiful animals, the blackbuck has been greatly persecuted by man and their numbers have sharply declined. Today, blackbucks remain in West Pakistan and in parts of India. Back to Blackbuck. [BM] {FW}
