The adult males have deep chestnut coats, with white underparts; while younger males and females have soft fawn coats. The muzzle of the blackbuck is goat-like and the eyes are defined by white markings. Like the impala and springbok, the blackbuck will leap into the air when there is danger. The alarmed herd may leap 6 feet into the air before swiftly fleeing from the danger. One of the fastest land animals, the blackbuck may reach 50 mph. MORE! [BM] {FW}
