Blackbuck
Blackbucks (also commonly known as Indian antelopes) are characterized by the long, spiralling
horns which grace the heads of the male members of this family. It is proposed that the tale of the
unicorn may have arisen through the blackbuck. These beautiful antelope
stand 2 1/2 feet at the shoulder and are approximately 4 feet in length.
Today, blackbucks remain in West Pakistan and in parts of India. MORE!
