Anoa 2
The larger species of anoa, the lowland anoa, reaches 3 1/2
feet in height. The mountain anoa reaches a maximum height of 3 feet. The coat of both species is
black, highlighted by white spots on the legs, throat and jaw. The coat is long and woolly. Anoas
have a reputation for being aggressive and cannot be enclosed with other animals for the anoas
will surely stab them to death.
