Sawfish
The sawfish shares similarities with both the shark family and the ray family. Its posterior end, with
defined tail looks like a shark, while its flattened body and large pectoral fins resembles that of a ray.
The long snout on the head has a intimidating blade with rows of teeth protruding from it. This sword
is used to disturb the muddy bottom as the sawfish feeds on such things as shell fish. MORE!
