Sorry, No Picture! With large, flat body and strong, defined tail the monk fish is a combination of shark and ray. The 11 species of monkfish are yellowish to black in colour, with white markings and undersurface. Reaching lengths of 8 ft the monkfish feeds on mollusks, flatfish and worms.
