Guitarfish
There are some 45 species of guitar fish which inhabit the shallow, warm sea waters. These fishes
which resembles both rays and sharks have thick, strong tails and flattened triangular bodies. They
are coloured in grey, black or brown with white undersurface. Reaching an average length of 5 ft. the
guitarfish buries itself in the seabed and feeds using its wavy, tooth filled mouth on mollusks and
other bottom dwelling creatures. MORE!
