Eagle Ray
The eagle ray has a diamond shaped body, with wing-like pectoral fins and sharply spined tail. This
ray receives its name from its close facial resemblance to the eagle. Having dull colours of grey,
brown and black, with creamy undersurface, the eagle ray can reach lengths greater then 15 feet. Like
other rays the mouth and gills are located on the undersurface. The eagle ray can be found flying
gracefully through the surface waters of warm and temperate seas.
